MR. DONALD G. FLAYNIK, JR.
Mr. Flaynik, a partner in the firm, holds a
B.S. in
Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois, and a J.D. from
Chicago-Kent College of Law.
He has been an Illinois licensed Professional Engineer since 1980.
Mr. Flaynik is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and
Trademark Office and all state and federal courts.
Mr. Flaynik has prosecuted a myriad of electrical and mechanical
engineering applications to issuance, including defense contract
technologies in the areas of optical fiber technology, ground proximity
warning systems, and optical disk changers.
Mr. Flaynik also has developed an expertise in domestic and trademark
prosecution matters.
Mr. Flaynik has extensive experience in licensing and litigation
matters.
Before becoming a lawyer, Mr. Flaynik worked in industry for 14 years,
including as a Senior Instrument and Electrical Engineer for Amoco
Corporation and Mobile Corporation.
Mr. Flaynik is a Senior Member of the Instruments Society of America
and is also a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic
Engineers.
